When Belgrano created the flag on February 27, 1812.

Belgrano proclaims the army on May 25, 1812 in Jujuy.
Located in the right wing -Santa Fe street- under the sculpture The Andes and to the right of the relief Ladies from Mendoza embroidering the Andes flag.
“Cuán execrable es el ultrajar la dignidad de los pueblos violando su Constitución” (How odious it is the damage the dignity of the peoples violating his Constitution).

“Éste será el color de la divisa con la que marcharán al combate los defensores de la Patria” (This one will be the color of the badge with which the defenders of the Motherland will go to the combat).
Belgrano in the oath of the victorious army in Tucumán, on February 13, 1813.
Located in the right wing of the Tower -Santa Fe street-, on the sculpture The Andes.
“Que conserve la Bandera que le dejé; que la enarbole cuando todo el ejército se forme y que no deje de implorar a Nuestra Señora de las Mercedes, nombrándola nuestra Generala” (That preserves the Flag that I left him; that hoists it when the whole army is formed and that does not leave imploring Our Lady of the Mercedes, naming our General).
Belgrano, letter to the General San Martín in 1814 at to be replaced in the Headquarters of the Army of High Peru.

"En este sitio sagrado para los argentinos -entonces barrancas del Paraná- el General Belgrano izó por primera vez la Bandera de la Patria, siendo las 6 y 30 de la tarde del día 27 de febrero de 1812".
In this sacred site for the Argentinians -then banks of the Paraná- the General Belgrano hoisted for the first time the Flag of the Motherland, It being 6:30 of the evening of February 27, 1812.
